You know, I am in love with your line work. I'm wondering, though, do you have a consistent method for you varying line weight (e.g. thickening the lines when coming to a point or corner, thinning the lines when curving)? Because I've noticed a superb attention to line weight in your work, but can't decide what the method is. Mind sharing?

I do draw the naughty bits in there... as most of my ruff sketches show... but they are not meant to show up on the final. They are there mostly to make the figure less wonky. I'm not a fan of men who are drawn crotchless like ken dolls, and women who have nipples that point in really weird directions and stuff... So I indicate the unmentionable parts, so that once the clothes go on, they leave room for whats there. What you are seeing is a ghost image that did not erase very well.

LOL ..."giggle stick" ...reminds me of a breakfast commercial they are running here in the Midwest... where two ruff and gruff cowboys are having pancakes loaded with gum drops and whip cream and lord knows what else... sweet stuff that doesn't belong on any breakfast plate, and not very Marlboro-Man-Manly... and they are asking the waitress for more "giggle drops"

I totally hate my sketches, especially when I am doing them... after the piece is done, the hate is not nearly as strong.
But yeah, they are so bad: the anatomy is all off, the line quality is total crap, etc., etc...
If memory serves, I may have a few in my gallery... you might want to check out some of the "rose" pieces I did a while back.
