And that is not a bad idea... I like the way your brain works. I did that that for an art magazine, but then the publisher fell off the face of the earth. I'll be updating the files, and run them in my next sketchbook... so it was not a total waste of time.

I totally hate my sketches, especially when I am doing them... after the piece is done, the hate is not nearly as strong.

But yeah, they are so bad: the anatomy is all off, the line quality is total crap, etc., etc...

If memory serves, I may have a few in my gallery... you might want to check out some of the "rose" pieces I did a while back.

Yeah, I rarely ever end up where I started with the thumbnails... but its fun figuring out how to be getting there when all is said and done. Thanks for the props buddy... much appreciated!!

haha ... I did a pen and ink drawing (detailed crosshatching) of that album back in high school 77-78'ish and sold 11"x14" prints to all of the heads in School

I even ran across the last one in a box somewhere - thinking, WOW - i remember those times,... kinda

he did such a great job designing her, ALPHA MALE... that it went from a quick doodle to warm up, to fleshing it out a tiny bit, and then a bit more, and so on and so forth.
