Love it! Brilliantly done. I don't think too many people even know about the Ghost who walks. I think he needs a resurgence.

How is he not looking at that body? The rosy flush on alabaster skin with the shadows playing across them?
There goes a stronger man than me. And look at her! She wants him to look!

Or maybe he's just ticked she grabbed his mask, which didn't help much due to the shadows he is standing in. I thought he was wearing a second mask at first glance. Didn't realize my mistake because my second through... oh, my thirty-ish? glance was at her...

This piece is so well laid out and extremely creative. I love how she took off the mask, he's in shadow (neener neener: you can't see his face), and you made sure to show his ring. All the elements scream a great story without saying a word. Well done sir!

Whoa... I am so floored anyone picked up on all of that, DRAWINGREMY!
Most folks look at my stuff, and all they see is boobs... not that there is anything wrong with that. I mean really... if boobs is all folks will ever see in my stuff, then God Bless Us Everyone.
But for grins and giggles, I like to throw more than just two circles with nipples on 'em into my pics. I am all kinds of stoked you saw stuff up in there --thanks much for the kind words.

I think that it's rather interesting that you bring the breasts up actually. If you really are dissapointed that people only see the boobs, why do you make them in to such a focal point in a majority of your pictures? It's very obvious that you are a very talented artist, you have a wonderful way with colour, you create beautful compositions and have a vibrant and dynamic quality to your line work. But when you got two huge boobs shaped like basketballs dominating the picture it's difficult for me at least to really appreciate those other qualities. This picture for instance would be just as sexy and beautiful if the woman had smaller more realistic looking breasts. That being said its a beautiful picture and I really like the look of a thirties actress you gave her.

I had a reeealy long reply...and I lost it. In short, I agree with Drawingremy in that I love the small touches that make it a proper "Phantom" piece.

Wait, what... there was a show?
(kidding)
Its pretty amazing when put into context. These days, having a superhero on the big screen with toys, and TV and this and that... is pretty much par for the course. Folks barely even blink an eye.
I remember not that long ago, that a movie, even a bad movie or TV show-- featuring comic book characters was a rare occurrence.
The Phantom predates a lot of that stuff, if not all of it. Phantom was a successful property that spanned the globe in various incarnations... decades and decades before the world wide web. Yeah, its pretty amazing, and all the more so when put into context.
Lee Falk was such a rockstar! Good for you Mr. Falk-- Rest In Peace!!
Thanks for the shout-out ROTHSU!

Welp Francho, 2009 was too much of a mixed bag for me. As it stands, I'm looking to turn these sour grapes into a fine wine, minus the "h".
Thank you man, may 2010 be a damn better sight then this year for all of us.

I hate to jump in and focus on the breasts like everyone else...well, not really...but something about the colors there, the skin tone, makes me thing of Frazetta's Golden Girl. And in my book, anything that evokes visions of Frazetta is a true work of art!

Franchesco In reply to MChampion [2009-12-26 13:11:15 +0000 UTC]
LOL
jump to focus ...for the win!!
Thanks, MICHAEL! If this pic somehow evokes some of that flavor you got from looking at that Frazetta piece, then that there is the cherry on the top of my cake.
Hoping the Holidays have been good to you so far, and wishing the New Year is full of all the best that life has to offer.
