Raging Bitch!!!...but it's not what you might be thinking. Fun thing about this character, is that she mutates into a wolf. Dog or Wolf... same difference-- when a bitch is coming at you with her fangs showing, the kind of canine breed is the last thing on our minds. All we see is teeth.

I'm pretty sure this is supposed to be Mercy Thompson from Patricia Brigg's Moon Called Series, the paw print tattoo on the belly is a dead giveaway. I love this image, your entire gallery is awe-inspiring, but this is one of my favorite paranormal book series. Looks like a cover for the comic book series I hear is coming out.
P.S. She actually transforms into a coyote, not a wolf...although most of the rest of the characters in the book are werewolves.

Right there with ya. I like the b&w one as well. Even if the client wanted full color, and all this and that. There was just soooooo much stuff they wanted crammed into the background, and much as I enjoyed drawing each of the elements-- it felt a little too claustrophobic.
Less was definitely more to me... but I think they may have thought I was just trying to get out of doing more work...
