Oh yeah! Finding Nemo is still in my memory as the best Pixar movie ever. It never asked for an inferior sequel...

nemo is fine, i can accept its existence, but dorri is the worst part of that film too
most sequals seem weaker, only few exceptions exist

Finding Nemo is a universal freakin master piece. I find it hard to accept a different opinionΒ Β

Its okay to be the exception, and an opinion is an opinion after all. And it might have a simple, humble story, but that's what makes that movie so emotional, so frank, so fit for adults and children alike. It is among the best animated movies ever, although better contenders win against Nemo due to other standards. Finding Nemo wins for being a old-fashioned Pixar movie that, despite being infantile enough to please children, it hardly grows bitter as time passes by. Even today its seen as an amazing movie.
I saw that movie so many times when I was a kid. But when I saw it a year or so ago I realized it had so much emotional meaning that sometimes only in adults it can't go unnoticed. The movie is about family after all. In some way or another its more appealing more realistic and therefore can often proove itself better than, lets say, 1994's The Lion King. Although the latter naturally wins due to the score and cinematography (although Finding Nemo's score is quite nice as well).

simple can be good, not every movie has to be "lets have a bad guy who wants to do world wide destruction", infact some don't even need villains
there isn't much to hate with nemo, only dori really but that is because the character is annoying as hell
i personally like lion king more because no character makes me want to cook them slowly on an open fire

Valid point. To me comparing The Lion King and Finding Nemo is completely unfair. They are different movies from each other.

true
1 is a cinematic masterpiece in the eyes of many and the other is finding nemo
only similarity is that they are both animals who talk

I guess that among the most human movies don't feature humans as the main characters...

Wait... movies with talking animals have been released like, forever... why would people think they all came in the same year?

Its a common trend in animated movies, having talking animals. Its a general trend in many children's stories and fables. So its not something new...
