There is a guy, a SFX professional called Mike Verta who's been remastering a print of the original Star Wars in his spare time. He's recently finished that now, saying that "one thing I can assure you is that Star Wars is safely under the wings of some mighty protectors." Maybe he's working with the Criterion Collection on this one, after all... Star Wars IS an important film in every sense of the word.UPDATE! 9/11/2015 Now I have some of the Criterion boxes, I've been able to tune up the shape of this cover; they're roughly about the size of a PS4 cover. It took several tries, but I came to a satisfactory aspect ratio with minimal stretching when printed from UnderCover. Now I've just got to do the others in that size...
UPDATE! 19/11/2015 After getting an actual Criterion Collection Blu-ray, I was able to make further adjustments to blend with it. I'm not entirely certain it worked: the boxes on this one looks a little wider when placed alongside the shelf with the actual article. But for now, this is the final version.
UPDATE! 15/12/2014 Added an inside cover and a nice sort of casing finish.

If there's one thing Criterion enjoys, it's putting multiple versions of the same film in one package (case in point Terry Gilliam's Brazil, Orson Welles's Mr. Arkadin, Chaplin's The Gold Rush among others).
How about this: three versions of the film in one package. The theatrical version, plus the 1997 and 2004 Special Editions; plus visual essays showing what has been changed.

This is what we want, a new 4K restoration scan of the original 1977 Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope on Blu-ray. Not the butchered 1997 Special Edition version of the film that Fox as still gets to us today! If only if it was real!

I would've also added the 1985 VHS and 1993 laserdisc mixes plus additional trailers, TV spots, and radio spots, but I like what you listed on the back.
