well, I can't really say if I improved or not.
but the main thing to keep it mind is that I just drew how ever the reference pic was, unlike my comics where I had to make up a lot of poses and whatnot out of thin air(ever if I did use reference it was very rare to find one the fit my needs exactly), where as this drawing I basically just....."copied" the reference

Simply put, it's basically when some asked that you draw something for someone else like a weapon or character in your art style, basically someone requests for something drawn by you and the person with the idea has to give as much info as possible to help you out with drawing it.
For my suggestion, could you draw team RWBY in the halo reach armor (doesn't matter what varent you use for each) and if possible draw my oc in the background of them?
