This is how I draw things. Especially of late. Of course the face always starts off as sketchy as the body but I tend to..... really focus on that until I get it how I like it. Then work my way down. I only just put the legs on him..... But that starts out the same as the rest of it. Circle, rough jaw line, and a plus in the center to be sure of where the face will be.
