Description
Ok! So, a friend of mine wanted to make a kirara plushie from the TV show Inuyasha. Having made a dragon plushie recently and being in a 3D lighting/Rendering class that's heavy on UV Mapping I thought this would be a great use of my time! Patterns for plushies are essentially UV Maps! This is the first run, and we're gonna test it on some cheap felt. THIS IS NOT YET FINISHED!!! If you print this pattern and get something wonky I accept no responsibility. >3>""

This is a WIP and I don't have the time to complete it. That's not rude at all, no worries! But I'm afraid it's a rather bad pattern... I'm sorry!

Hello I have already read all the previous comments and I took notes on how the head is mounted, as I groped to sew would like to know if you can tell me how to assemble the remaining pieces, and especially that position should have finished work! thanks

Again, as I've mentioned before, I have given up on this pattern. Feel free to do as you like with it. The head was supposed to mount facing forward but I'm not sure how it would actually fit all things considering.

As I've said many times in the comments, this is a work in progress that is likely never to be finished. I'm more concern now with finding employment than testing patterns.
There is also a post in the comments that say what all the numbers mean if you'd like to try to alter it yourself.

I'm pretty sure this one is permanently unfinished. I'm busy with other things and don't have time to finish.

Kirara is the nekomata that belongs to Sango in Inuyasha.

I would like like to test this pattern out, but I'm not really sure what all the pieces are. I get confused easily. If you can find some time can you add some labels? Or just comment what they are for?
I'm pretty new at sewing.
Thanks!

The reason this is moved to scraps is because it's a work in progress and not been tested. There are numbers on the pattern and in the description it says what those numbers are

Then I'll just give it my best. I won't be able to start on it because I have some other projects in mind.
Thanks!

This was moved to scraps because it was a theoretical piece. I never made it. I decided that after graduating college that there were things more important and never went back to it.

No, I've been told it doesn't work properly yet. I'll try to make one that works soon. This is purely theoretical.

Oh god ; this is only a theoretical pattern! I don't know if it works and someone has printed these and tried it-- said they didn't work. I'll have to make a new one

I'm actually making this as a gift for my sister. So, tomorrow, when I finish it, I'll let you all know how it went
So far, it looks like it'll end up nice, but some pieces are a little confunsing or too little to work with.
Well, thank you for the pattern!

Update: the head cannot be done. In ANY way :/ So bad I already cutted out everything... Can anyone give me some explanation about the head? I read what is written up there but it doesn't help me.

I'm actually trying to make this, but I get as far as the black star on the forehead and then I'm lost. Sorry, but how do you put this all together? I'm kinda a dunce when it comes to instructions...
PS: This is a really cool pattern!!!

Free-Falling In reply to HimeKurimuzon [2011-12-16 03:37:39 +0000 UTC]
There's a reply for DragonQueen down the list of comments that goes as far as setting up the head. Though I maaaaaay need to add a full journal entry on how to make this one. The piece for the butt may just be too big and might need to be gotten rid of entirely now that I look back at it... again, this pattern has never been tested out before and there are a lot of things that need fixing. >3>" What I would do is sew the Ears, then head, then legs, tail and body. The feet pieces are a little weird looking but if you think of the circular piece as the pad of the foot, wrap the other piece around it and you'll notice a gap. That's where the round triangle piece goes. (it's under the 'F' in 'Foot')

Hmm? It's a pattern for a sewn plushie-- a stuffed animal. You'd have to buy supplies and make it yourself.
