You can't find a work like this drawn by a hand these days. Often they come in digital art, so i have to say, it's amazing work!

If I were to write a book, this illustration would be the quality I would be looking for, and I am sure that with all the details you have included, you are or should be an excellent writer. Very professional work. If you could make a portfolio in the same style, it WOULD BE, if it not already has, be accepted on a high quality publishing level. I like this mostly because there are a lot of subtle things that point out how much this little gentleman is dedicated to reading. He came prepared with food, he's holding a spot from another part of the book, and there's a sense that the wax candle isn't going to last until he's done reading. The expression is great too. I really like it. Thank you. This has a lot of character to it.
