After the last battle, I like to think that Azula was overcome with her sad condition and sought out Zuko's forgiveness. And in brotherly love, he gave it, knowing almost exactly what she was going through.Aug 2011

I definitely feel this is what happened. Zuko wouldn't have just belittled her he would have understood the pain she was suffering and comforted her. But she does need mental help considering her childhood so that is why she is sent to a mental institution to mend her mind not destroy her.

Oh definitely I agree. It is not just a "little kid" cartoon! Very deep issues, very complex character development. This is why I LOVE it!

Also I wanna say its pretty much an anime, yeah I know its an American cartoon, but I mean it has all the qualities of a great Japanese anime in terms of animation, intensity, humor, etc. Nevertheless, I love the show for its depth!

Thank you! Yeah, it was just one, a 0.7 mm. I don't normally use them on finished work, because I like to be able to shade stuff. But this was supposed to be a quick sketch...which of course never happens!

Beautiful piece, portrays exactly how I see Azula's future. Wonderful job, the shading is nice, the expressions are moving, and it's just so gritty and emotional.

Thank you so very much! Yeah, I can't see Azula going to the Loony bin for the rest of her life. And I most certainly can't see Zuko executing her as some say he did. She had just as much of Ursla's side of the family as her brother, and he came to the light, so I have to hope she did as well.
