I was snooping around RealMantis ' gallery again and saw this kingfisher that I just HAD to draw, now that I finally have a little free time on my hands

I made this one in the same style as a previous kingfisher or as we call them, Martin Pêcheur..
I recently saw two of these guys flying through my little village, by the little river, I've heard that it proves that the water quality is good! When they fly through at high speed like that, like two little color-bombs they made me think of miniature fighter jets. So obviously I had to draw one soon after...
This one I made with museum aquarelle, a hint of gelpen and a splatter of metallic silver gelpen like in the previous drawing! It was a fun project from start to finish.
