Isn't that fox being sort of a hypocrite? Foxes are some kind of dog, too.

You can still be discriminatory of your own group. You know, like Uncle Ruckus from The Boondocks.

Oh wow!
You look cool dressed in coat, scarf and shoes. You even carry bottled water in your backback which is the same as what I do when I'm travelling around in real life.
I like it.

You'll have to make the rest of the journey alone, though (and probably without cola too). Nice work on James and yourself here. =3

These signs put dogtaurs in a uniquely difficult position as to whether we're allowed...
Mind you, I want to see how far you can push a restaurant's "no shirt, no shoes, no service" policy given your choice of clothing, or selective lack thereof.

Since my character usually wears a shirt and is wearing shoes here, it'd be interesting to see how that would develop

It was explored in a Calvin and Hobbes comic strip back in the '90s.

Humans and chimps are also related, that doesn't make them the same

Well that's unfortunate for him. It does say only dogs not allowed. Wonder what they'll say about cats?

The dog on the sign is feral. Does that rule extend to anthros as well?
π: 0 β©: 1
FreyFox In reply to AnthroLoverJay [2013-11-16 13:22:43 +0000 UTC]
I say it does But then these signs exist not because the dogs themselves are the problem. It is what comes out of their behinds >.<
π: 0 β©: 1
AnthroLoverJay In reply to FreyFox [2013-11-16 16:40:05 +0000 UTC]
Bit biased of them considering there's really nothing stopping foxes from doing the exact same thing. Aren't they technically canines?
π: 0 β©: 1
FreyFox In reply to AnthroLoverJay [2013-11-16 16:48:19 +0000 UTC]
Foxes are canines, but then humans are related to chimpanzees. Doesn't make them all the same
π: 0 β©: 1
AnthroLoverJay In reply to FreyFox [2013-11-16 16:58:33 +0000 UTC]
Well, they're mainly a part of the vulpine family, but I digress. Actually, that sign does bring up the question of whether regular feral dogs exist in your universe. I suppose they must, otherwise we'd have a case of "specism" on our hands. Meh. I'm probably just over-thinking it. I'm just analytical about things like that.

They certainly do. It is shown in one strip in my webcomic.
