I think that the more people accept the fact that the idea of an afterlife existing is bullshit, the better off they'll be.

I don't believe there is an afterlife for one simple reason; Thermodynamics.

Exactly. I mean, most Christians idea of an afterlife is that there are parties all the time and that we will be singing God's name 24/7. To these I say, "Are you fucking kidding me? That's a load of shit and you know it." That's why science outperforms religion, because science is full of truth whereas religion is full of lies.

Professor Brian Cox says that we need thermodynamics to think and work the way we do. If we get to the pearly gates the first thing we'll need to ask is "The how do refrigerators work!?"

And it's a good thing we've got guys like Brian Cox and Bill Nye the Science Guy to show us facts. Religion doesn't teach people to be critical thinkers, it's makes them scientifically illiterate. And that really pisses me off.

I feel should reiterate my statement when I said that I fear death because I think my last comment made me sound like a pusscake. I don't entirely fear death, I just don't think that people should die when they haven't done anything that made their lives happy or memorable. The thing about death is that it's unexpected. You can't exactly predict when a person will die, and when he/she does die, you can'tΒ save them either. LookingΒ at certain jobs likeΒ police, firefighters and military, these are people who are putting their lives on the line to help keep us safe. Because there's a possibility that those people will die, and you can't exactly act like a coward in those jobs. So, I think I shouldn't worry about death that much, because it will happen to me at some point in the future whether I want it to or not. When will it happen? I don't know, but a wise man once said, "Life is too short to be a coward."

That's alright. I think that living forever is worse than dying though.

I guess so. I think we should try to make our lives as happy and joyful as we possibly can before our time comes. So that once we become too old to live, we can look back and say that we had good, long life. Provided we don't get killed by someone or something.

How he died is kind of something I left up to whoever views this sad picture. I think I drew him like he got hit by a car, but having said that I didn't want to draw him looking all mangled. That would have upset me too much.

Like the end of that Casper cartoon "There's Good Boos Tonight". When the narrator goes "And so Casper and Ferdie were happy together for the rest of their lives" I was like "HOW?! They're dead!"

I didn't event know about that. Let's leave it at writer oversight. Unless they meant afterlife.

Though it's hard to be reassuring since none of us know what actually will happen afterwards, but at least we can dream.
