Description
The tutorial describes how the user can go about the process of creating his or her own custom gradients for use in The GIMP. It uses a simple example with three colors and five color 'gradations' to create a gradient that looks like the layers of a piece of candy corn. It is kept in a *.doc file for ease of reading and downloading. For those without MS Word on their systems, it is suggested that you use either one of the Office viewer plug-ins for IE, or that you use some other program to view these files (like Open Office).

Note: I was uncertain as to how the credit should be doled out concerning the windows of which I took screenshots for this tutorial. With this in mind, I wrote the disclaimers with the intent that all credit for the dialog boxes and the like should go to the creators of the software, and that I made the screenshots myself, rather than borrowing them from anybody else.
