Poppy, how did Chrome gain your trust? Was there like a defining moment? Like Chrome saved you or something? Chrome, you can chime in to if you wantYep, there was a defining moment, with Chrome saving her twice. The first from a deceiving huntsman that pretended to be nice, which helped Poppy trust Chrome a little, though she was still quite shaky and still super cautious around him. Before the day when he saved her again, by defending her from a fearsome shadow beast.
Anyways not my typical style to draw Chrome with such a fearsome expression with an attempt of a dynamic pose, but i had fun jumping out of the box for this one. Revealing Chrome's more wolf/animal side. Though no worries the moment the beast leaves and is gone Chrome's will probably melt back to his old sweet, softy self as he urgently checks on Poppy to see if she's alright. ^^
Also since this isn't my usual super warm, fluffy work, feel free to give me some constructive criticism.

Mmmmmm....if you have a character like that....mmm yeah might be a good idea to have them stay away from her. Unless he doesn't realize Poppy is part rabbit, despite the dead give away with her long ears and short tail.

Poppy is human size? Cos if so, he's only a kid and small for his age so he couldn't even eat her XD Worse he'd do is try nomming her ears X3 And snuggle her.

Mmm yep, Poppy's around human size, maybe a little shorter standing around 5 feet. (sometimes 4 feet in certain rps)
And....with Poppy's jumpiness around danger. She might try and flee if he tried to do that....

Chrome's ears should be going the other way, because when animals are afraid or defensive their ears go back, and it looks like Chrome's ears are going forward which usually implies that they are listening for something. But other then tat it looks really good.
