After reading that 'Lost In Nightmare' file, my theory about Alex is: All that Albert was---> Alex is going to be much worse. As far as sex, I guess we'll see. I don't want it to look anything like Albert. Nevertheless, without OUR Wesker, I just don't care about the RE series. Not at all.

My brain wants to EXPLODE tryin' to think of a villan WORSE that our beloved Albert Wesker, so I'm NOT EVEN.
I am a newcomer, for the most part. RE 4 is the only one I played, watched 5 (and Darkside Chronicles but we'r not countin' that) on Youtube, and tried to play 2 and failed epically, as did my friend, so it was kinda a no-go. I've seen all the movies, enjoyed them to some extent, though not as much as I have the games I've experienced.
MY whole question is if they don't do a Wesker-esque villain, they gonna have to SERIOUSLY up the ante here. People like Excella and Irving and even Salazar just ain't gonna cut it!
Honestly, I was also surprised Alice hasn't popped up SOMEWHERE. Maybe they'll actually ignore her existance!
I think we need more female villains. Or just more believable characters. I'm not sexist if they're AWESOME.
