IMHO, it doesn't look Asian at all. It can be safely approximate to Arthur - a knight gaming character from Ghouls and Goblins by Capcom. The armour is fine, as far as technicalities allow, except that... horns on armour helmets would indicate an overlord status, in this case this guy is only a warrior knight, if I am not wrong.

Maybe he can be an asian viking? Actually, he looks pretty euro to me. Perhaps it's the helmet that gives the asian look...Anyways, gorgeous pic! The armor is wonderfully done (love the shine!). The only problem I see is that the axe is bent too much.

Wow! They say practice makes perfect.. but what happens when practice IS perfect?
I agree with you that he's not THAT viking-looking, but hey, it gives him a much more fantastic feel. There's hints of viking, some asian and a bit of medieval europe.
What a drawing! I wish I could leave a longer, more detailed comment, but I'm too awed to think of the proper words. Absolutely wonderful way of drawing metal, though. It's shiny but not perfectly smooth, giving it a used, battleworn look to it.

I keep thinking Arthur from Ghosts N' Goblins looking at the face. It's quite uncanny when you think about it.

This is very well illustrated character. The facial features and amour is outstanding. I think that the headgear makes him a little bit Asian but he dose look like a Viking or at lest a Hun. If my memories recall don’t the Viking only wear their horned helmets to burials and ceremonies?

...For some reason, the dialouge "Wanna see my ax, baby?" comes to mind when I see this.

The coloring makes me droul. I wish there was a color to the background though. Even if its just a solid color to make it more emontional...mm. Oh well. Nice work!
