Well it reminded me of the Beatrix Potter squirrel. I have never seen a red squirrel before. This one was bred in captivity. I was impressed that I got an okayish shot through 1cm chicken wire - the blurring to the right is the wire!Related content

Before I moved to Seattle there was this huge one that lived in our neighbors tree and I would feed it while waiting for the school bus. One wild one I have ever gotten within 10 feet of, though. I love watching them run up and down trees fighting with each other.
