This butterfly likes my yellow flowers. It is called the Gatekeeper butterfly - I'd never seen one before. I thought it's colours were lovely and richRelated content

The colors on this are really very nice!! Warm yet bright. I might would have tried applying just a touch of unsharp mask in Photoshop - but otherwise it's very nice composition.

thanks for your comments. yeah, i agree with you it probably is a bit bright. I haven't touched it at all in psp other than cropping. I would rather keep trying to take a picture without touching up in psp, it feels kinda cheating to play about with it.

Butterflies love white and yellow colours...never wear a white dress at a butterfly park...you get swamped

Nah - he was fed up with me going so slow and following butterflies and bees around that he wandered off on his own. Think it was this big yellow blob that scared them away, as i followed them about
