Maybe just a little too close. LOL The focus on this one could be a little better and it looks like you have some purple fringing going on there too.

yeah, the focus was a bit crap - but i liked the fuzzy look of the little things back. What do you mean by purple fringing? How is that caused? Never heard that expression.

Purple fringing is also called chromatic aberrations, it's that purple sometimes blue or green edge you sometimes get especially when using the flash or taking a picture of a bright or metalic object. If you look on the legs and around the bright spot on the eye, you will see it. All cameras are capable of producing that effect, some are just worse then others.
