Description Here is the first completed sheet of parts for my "Eagle" card model. I originally made one of these by drawing out the shapes by hand and assembling the finished components on Coreldraw, then printing them out. This time I'm generating the shapes on Coreldraw entirely, making the model sections more accurate and easier to alter.
This is what the original model looked like completed: [link]

I am making a 3d model in wings based of this paper model. i was hoping to use it in a free game called oolite. i was wondering if you would give permission to use the artwork as texture on the 3d model ? Of course you will beΒ  given credited as the artist.Β  oolite is a fan made game based on the original Elite. there are quite a few downloadable space craft for the game and as a lover of the Space 1999 tv show i wanted to add the Eagle transporter.

It looks like a great effort, and I wouldn't mind having a go at building it.
But this sheet persists in reporting a broken link in the download link, and maximum zoom on the main image only yields an image ΒΌ of the size.

I don't know why it won't download properly.
Give me an email addy and I'll send this page that way.

Could I kindly ask where the Landing gear support beam should be inserted?

When you have the landing gear pods assembled, look for the small rectangle on the opposite side of the attitude thruster "X" shape. Score the rectangle and cut the diagonal lines; fold the triangular flaps inwards.
Take the assembled support beam (making sure you've cut out the white circles on the surface) with a small amount of glue on the end and insert it into the rectangular hole in the landing gear pod until it is fastened to the inside of the opposite wall of the pod (the "X" side)Make sure it is even and centrally attached. The cut-out holes in the beam will allow passage of the landing gear posts and those glue onto the inside of the top of the pod. Slide the beam through similar rectangular holes in the front and aft structures and fasten the other pod in the same way as the first. (try it dry before you use any glue to make sure the fit is good and the beam is level). I hope this is clear enough to help you.
