redesign of an old oc i drew a lot when i was 12-13 (og ref: www.deviantart.com/fadedviolet… ) !! she was originally named sakura but. i would like to think i have moved on from my cringey weeb phase .
when i first made her she was like. some kinda demon cat? that was experimented on in a laboratory ?? i dont really know but i wanted to keep at least some of her og characteristics so i thought maybe like. there was some kinda gene therapy testing on a group of cats. and like the ones who survived passed down their weird genes to new generations. which would obviously be pretty risky so there'd be a high death rate but maybe the ones who survived would form tribes of sorts? just groups of cats living together, maybe in abandoned buildings, just trying to survive. there probably wouldn't be that many, just like 2 or 3 groups. idk it's still very tropey and not well thought out but. im tryin. and i want to redesign another oc or two (on a nostalgia trip rn) so i figured i might as well try and come up with some kind of story. i am definitely going to read this again when im 20 and wonder what was going through my head but i guess thats the fun of it
(also they would have like near-human capability for thought but have to communicate through simplified language and simple sounds bc yknow. cat vocal cords
