Description Since we have lots of aida and embroidery thread at home (from when I was a child and would make cross-stitched christmas cards).
I decided to use som of it this summer. The pattern used: www.twdesignworks.com/Free/fut… It encourages finding colour combinations on your own and bolder colour decisions i general. Great! But... what are you going to do with a  dragon? I didn't know, so I turned it into a book. Just an experiment, but a really fun one. Sure, the signatures are a bit uneven and other unfalttering details...but it looks and works like a book, so I guess it is one. My favourite self-made so far
Size of book: 11,3cm*15,4cm
Size of embroidery: 8,2cm*14,3cm

Thank you a lot!
I am sorry to tell you that this was done last summer, and since I see this projects as gaining experience more than anything else and do not remember all details. Did not follow any specific tutorial or technique, attempt to learn by the try-and-error-method. (with special emphasis on the "error" part) No particular reason other than that I seem to be unable to understand those tutorials and so far never have bought any material/equipment especially for this purpose, so I improvise as I go along.
Signatures and coverd finished each on their own (guide size was the size of the embroidery), then using the grey ornament paper and glue to attach them to eachother and hide the cardboard. Unlike what I've seen in most tutorials/documentaries that one ought to do, the paper is glued to the entire first/last page, simply because I do not trust the glue I used. Unsure of wether I used "strings" on the back for stability when stitching it together. The embroidery was done on its own before stitching it to the velvet fabric at the ends, which is also hidden under the cover/attachment paper.
Sorry that I could not describe it better. Feel free to ask, though I doubt that I am able to give a good answer.

Thank you for answering! This a great help! I'm going to start this project this week and I hope it ends up as great as your book. Thanks again!

You made an amazing piece of art! May I ask you what method did you use to turn it into a book? I've seen a lot of tutorials online but your result is the one that I like the most. Thanks in advance.
