These are the drawings for the old Nintendo All-Stars section on Nintendo Database [link]The aim was to have a page for each character, delving into their history. Note how for the most part they aren't the most popular characters. There were a few more pages than this, but the artwork was by the site's readers.

This was for a section on my old website, NinDB. Some characters were drawn by other artists, such as Samus. Mario was added later and appears on one of my other pieces.

I think you're missing a few more other lesser known Nintendo characters here I would like to see more characters you can draw for Nintendo all stars!
These nintendo characters which are not shown in your drawing but I would like to see
them which are Lip from Panel de pon and Doshin the giant.

I like the simplistic designs and the focus on the obscure Nintendo players.
I personally would want to see either Mike Jones or Mike Anderson in SSB4. Mike J. would probably be easier since he's already got legit attacks from the games.
Mike A. would be a challenge. Since he's never seen fighting outside an ST, they'd have to go the Fox/Capt. Falcon route and invent some attacks for him. However, the ST would definitely have to figure into at least some of his attacks and especially the Final Smash.

Takamaru and Sukapon were my most-wanted this time around. Takamaru is one of the last remaining action game heroes in Nintendo's back catalogue not to be in Brawl. And his final smash could easily have been his Lightning spell attack!
But hey, he's in Captain Rainbow, so not the end of the world

oh god yes! Jill is also one of my fave recent protagonists....hope she continues to live on, cause many of them unfortunatly are left behind

Despite being nearly twice as many trophies this time, I was disappointed not to see some of the characters missed in the first game. Especially when Takamaru and Sukapon shoulda been playable! They at least deserved trophies - not just a sticker and original music (Joy Mech Fight is included in the Famicom medley).

oh...lol I always forget that reply button... and I agree Y.Y so many characters deserved at least trophies.... I also got mixed feelings about Sonic and Metal Gear Solid series having trophies in Brawl, I mean Sonic and Snake is fine but they included more than plenty trophies...As if they were part of Nintendo

To be fair, both Sonic and Snake only had 10 trophies each (including fighter and final smash) and nearly all of them were also assist trophies or stage/attack elements. Considering how many Pokemon/Kirby/Mario trophies there are...

Yea Mario/Kirby/Pokemon and Zelda had overload of trohpies T.T but they are pretty much the biggest series of Nintendo...bout Sonic and MGS....well Fire Emblem had about that same amount if not less, and thats because they're first party

BTW It'd be a dream come true if Brawl had starred many more retro characters and added more trophies instead of all those unnecessary 3rd party trophes Y.Y (like Mike, Syrup, Bubbles, Pauline, and any of these who are yet to be in a Smash game)

The trophy mode is very heavily populated with in-game models and models from recent titles. The retro part of Melee was what made that awesome. The assist trophies kinda filled that role on their lonesome - which was awesome anyway. Jill is one of my favourite recent game characters.

I remember these from the site, I always liked the way you drew these characters. Also extra kudos for including Gumshoe, Professor Hector, Muddy Mole, and Captain Syrup.
It's hard for me to chose just one of these character drawings as my favorite, but I always loved the Bubbles (Clu Clu Land) one, she just looks so cute.

The aim of Nintendo All-Stars, and NinDB in general, was to inform people about "lost" characters - so I made sure to tackle some of the more obscure ones first
I think my faves are Link, Fox and Red, just for sheer quality of drawings. They're not perfect, but I still like 'em.
And Bubbles is only a female in the American translation. Groopy (Japanese name) is not given a gender.
