I remember having drawn Hector along with R.O.B. like almost 10 years ago for some silly project, for some weird reason I gave him glasses. Your take is actually pretty cool.

That's not quite what I meant by "reference". I meant there is no official artwork reference material of him. Even the sprites that appeared in KDL3 and Tetris DS were just his NES sprite again.

I thought there was a sprite of him in Kirby's Dream Land 3? Wouldn't that count as reference?
