I recently found and scanned a ton of really old drawings from around 1999-2005. Here's a drawing of Bowser from around 2001 that I've updated and given the old 2018 treatment.Who knows what the next 17 years might bring!

I always like seeing "progression images", as I can them. It's a good way of showing just how far you've come. I should find some of my old art

It's great fun to do. I found a progression image I did back in 2008 from an original piece back in 1997. I'm tempted to do that one again as well... A proper progression

I think I'm enjoying it because it's taken me a long time to get to a place where I can get the image in my head onto paper and be satisfied with the result - and it's only the last couple of years I've actually gotten there. I know the end results of these are still a bit rough (normally I'd take longer to clean up the lines, etc.) but for a quicky drawing exercise I'm going to do a few more of these, I reckon!
