I just discovered your game, because a friend told me about it... ATM I can't load my saved games.. But usually you can? Or how does it work??
How is it to make a simply game like this one and make it become so popular? Really nice!!

*fsk you may have fixed something, I don't know what.... but I just had another saved track go bonkers on me today.
At least the 1st one I had to fix is still running smoothly.
It is quite amazing how skilled you can become at this game with lots of practice trying to correct corrupted tracks. It's a whole other game within a game. Hahaha.
Still loving it!

yeah the fix isnt online yet:/. the webmaster is enjoing his holidays too. the fixed one will have 'revision 5' on the bottom of the title page. hope it gets online soon. it could happen that the tracks you made with the buged one will change again in the update but thats the last time i think (as far as i tested it they dont change again). try not using accelerator lines and it should work fine. also be carefull and dont delete the first line:/.

Ha ha...he says don't use the accelorator lines! Are you kidding me? That's what makes the new version of the game so excellent. I can travel uphill without having to go downhill first to get there. I can zoom through loops without falling off the top of the loop due to lack of momentum.
I am now not too worried about losing tracks. I can always make another one. Once the addiction point wears off, the game is just a fun toy to mess around with while waiting for other internet pages to load. I just keep making tracks longer and longer. Maybe I even want them to break down.
Yep...that's it. It has added a new dimension.

I haven't commented at DA for a very long time but this program is the greatest thing I have come across in a long time. I found it at another site. I'm disabled and can't do very much and was tired of playing the same old games over and over. Thank you alot for this! I played with it and was having fun then I went to the site with the movies and could not believe what you can do with this. I do agree about the eraser though. that would be nice. I see the web version has one but I will never be able to afford the game since I can't work. and I don't think I will have an internet connection for much longer. But I see alot of time with the free version in my future. Congrats on creating one of the hottest new games around.

It's not fixed, my track broke down. However, it was early on for me, so at least it wasn't bad.

I am officially hooked on this game. The Beta 2 version is definitely more fun to manipulate, but there are some glitches.
I managed to create some great tracks only to find they have changed once they are saved.....and my rider crashes in the saved version, where he was scooting along thru loops and never ending jumps before I saved the damn track, and even again after replaying a saved track yesterday for a friend - I found no problems during the run through (he rode beautifully, just as created)!...only to open up the same track today and find a crash course.
It's quite upsetting!
Hours of play have taught me to just go ahead and modify the track so he'll quit crashing, (very difficult thing to do-VERY Difficult) but I am now aware that a saved track can become a corrupted track...and I don't hold up too much expectation.
We are still loving this game...

So, I'm suggesting improvements for v3, because I'm currently using V2, which isn't here.
1) the attach tool should be an option, with an on/off function.
2) obviously, you're used to the flash interface. Instatute some ideas from that. Specifically try adding a autoshape function, mainly a circle or rectangle. A pen for deforming the lines to a curve. A fill in function would be awesome to.
3) There should be 2 variations of the pencils (with 3 subcategories you already have). One should be the current, while the other dhould be like the pencil in MS Paint, where you could do one pixel at a time. Even, maybe, you could institute the pencils from flash with a straighten, smooth, and what ever the other one is.
4) physics settings would make this game absolutely pwn. You could switch to zero-gravity, low-gravity, heavy-gravity,... anything.
5) A create-a-character mode would be good for the Wii game, but not the internet variation.
6) A zoom-in zoom-out feature is a definite for the game, if not the internet version. At least make it with 3 settings, if not a instant zoom-in feature. (If you don't know what I mean, lookat the change from Sims to The Sims 2).
7) The eraser should be in different sizes, like, again, in flash.
8) Just promise one thing on the Wii version. This must, must, must, MUST have internet compatability. Upload fellow users tracks, edit them, repost them. It would the Linux of video games.
For an internet game, this is superb. But even if v2 is released for DS or Wii without some major, major editions, it's going to suck. As is, in the v2 version, a 15$ payment is the most you'd get from me. And seeing how Wii games run for at least 30$, this could be much better. It would be a shame to see such an original, innovative, intuative game go to waste.
Ah, Line Rider. Did you ever think it would get this far?

dunno about the rider but i sure didnt think it will get so far. and dont worry the wii wersion will have way more power than the flash version. flash is slow. as cool as flash is its still not a game platform, thats why macromedia made Director. unfortunately i dont know lingo (directors script). design on the Ds and wii hasent really started yet. but we have a working PC version and some of the stuff you can do with a faster platform is amazing!. trust me, the Wii version will pwn

V2 has a zoom feature. Depending on the zoom size, it gets bigger. It's the same chunk of the screen, no matter what zoom, so if you zoom out, it gets bigger.
Wii games 30 bucks? Where? Virtual console games are 5-10 bucks, and new games are 50$
Beta 2 isn't here because it's way too easy to rip stuff of DA.

Well thats just my opinion. You obviously did a great job making it so it would've been cool to learn from it. And slap a license on the source. Like no selling for profit, always include your name somewhere in the finished version, etc. Obviously that cant be done now, but it would have been awesome to have been able to do that.
