This is Airí! Airí is not a verziya. It's a lesser demon, not so much a fallen angel as a plain old air spirit. These air spirits' resemblance to their larger cousins is only skin-deep. The spirits are much smaller (never over 5ft tall, and those over 4ft are considered unusually large) and only have 4 limbs. They have no tails, no horns, 2 eyes, and 3 digits on each limb. Their face is a keratinous mask, like a bird's beak, and they can't make facial expressions like verziya can (their jaw hinges are hidden behind the cheek patches). Neither can the spirits summon weapons.

They use magic to fly, and can levitate at will. This frees them of the necessity to have proportional wingspans. Air spirits rarely if ever touch the ground and they weigh basically nothing.

Here's a halfassed comparison between Airí, who is tall for a spirit, and Zida, who is average for a verziya.

Given that the Heavenly Host lives in the upper atmosphere, air spirits are the very first living corporeal beings that falling verziya meet. Because of this, air spirits are the posterchildren of corporeal life for the new verziya. So the resemblance between spirits and verziya is a case of the latter copying the former.

I'm torn on a name for these things (well, the official name is 'naziya' but I kept misreading it haha). And even though they're a new species, they're not closed. If someone wants to make one, go ahead! Just come to me first about what is and isn't allowed pattern-wise. Their body types are basically all the same, however - they don't have nearly as much build or wing variation as verziya do.

Verziya (otherwise known more simply as 'demons) are immortal, supernatural creatures that generally take the form of avian humanoids. They once belonged to the Heavenly Host of cosmological beings known to humans as 'angels', but defaulted and Fell to Earth, gaining corporeal bodies but losing many of their powers. They can still summon the remains of their holy weapons, now severely degraded in power but still fairly devastating to mortals.
As supernatural creatures, Verziya lack a human's or an animal's free will.
