Description
i probably should not have coloured this but anyway here's aniel (in the same pose as its ref sheet because i'm lazy) drawn in a slightly more detailed way than usual. i'm just trying to work out how to avoid my lines looking so horrible and flat. in this case, i just turned my smoother down and let my natural shaky hand do the rest. i'm also trying to distort the verziya a little more, to make them seem slightly more monstrous. anyway i'm not particularly happy about the result but i do admit that aniel's colour is really tricky since it's so paleAniel here is wearing a bronze Petrie crown (www.100objects.ie/wp-content/u… ) which materialises as part of its weapon. Extra armour, cloths, etc. are common accessories that come with the weapons. Verziya value equality and free will, as many of them chose to defect from an army with a very strict hierarchy. As supernatural creatures, Verziya lack a human's or an animal's free will. This means that they can be summoned, captured, or killed by magical means (while mortals are unaffected by magic, they are the only ones capable of wielding it). The Host, on the other hand, have no free will whatsoever and acts as a hivemind instead of a group of varying individuals.
Basic anatomy
They are generally taller than humans and nearly all are capable of flight. As semi-corporeal beings, they are capable of making their arms, wings, and t
