Not too sure about this one.......but thought id upload something considering I spent 2 hours up on a moor at -4, and hardly any pictures were decent..
Only used Photoshop to resize, quite happy with how well the camera managed to pick up the stars, as well as the lights down below.
I believe it is Orion belts, so some people have said.
Tell me what you think... please....
or just give me beer... either way is cool.. ta

Great night shot. Orion's Belt indeed. I think a bit smidgen underexposed though. Maybe a minute would have been good. Also try messing around with the White Balance. It helps with the lights and adds a great effect to it.
You should really try to get some extra long exposures with the stars moving. Check out my DA friend ~omagnas . He's absolutely great at shooting stars.

I was trying to get the stars to move, you know having like a 5 / 10 minute exposure, but it was too cold and i got impatience.
So i ended up doing this,
The exposure was 40 seconds, with an aperture of f/7.1, I was trying to get that cool star burst effect around the lights, so narrowed the apperture but it didnt really come out.

This is DAMN GOOD, IMO. I seriously like this, it has almost an old skool Hollywood quality to it, as if ya wanna hit the Sinatra music!

Great. As usual. You see - I like when your photos are like this one (they are really good), and the one with guitar was so weird. I don't know you, but I think that it was not in you style.

Well i will tell you why i took the guitar one, my normal lens broke, and i didnt have it for 2 weeks, so i was feeling lonely, and i only had a big lens, so i took that, but i know what you mean, it isnt my usual style..
