Nice design, but like the comment above says, this style is way overused. The fonts and overall theme are very bland, clan websites need a serious over hall. Overall though you did a very nice design (especially if you designed the eye/viper from scratch) but your judgement on the size of things on the screen really killed it.
Number one, I am on a huge monitor and I think the header is way too big. You are not taking into consideration people with smaller screen sizes. My general rule of thumb is a website should look great on a 15" monitor. If someone looks at this on a smaller screen that header area is probably going to take up the whole screen. That is just ridiculously huge. If you want to make a serious website you have to respect all screen sizes and not design things enormous like that. If I were you I would stuff that header into a nice 200px height size area. Theres's not need to have a huge header like that.
In fact, not just the header but the navigation is kind of big as well. Then the the title bars you have like "advertisements" and "Content News" are actually too small. Those are way too small and skinny. And for the navigation, you need to fix the links. "Carbon Viper Home" with the text ""News and Articles", there's just too much text on the buttons! Just make the links simple, "Home" "Members" "Community", etc. Nice simple links, no need for all that text on the buttons.
Take it from me. You great design skills but you got to get consistent sizes on everything. Alot of this content on this template is very crammed as well and will be a nightmare to code if it gets that far. I made a website for a huge MLG clan several years ago, it had hundreds of members on the site. Even with gamers mainly using the site there will be people using it with smaller monitors/phones as well. Plus I got a college education in web development and I make websites for people in Hollywood now

Very interesting design, great use of effects and colours. I think this style is overused though, it is way to common in the gaming community and someone needs to reinvent this style further. Hope I helped.
