I don’t understand how someone can get so pissed off over someone liking the art they post. It is mind blowing to me. I don’t understand why you would post your art for the world to enjoy than get pissed off when you people enjoy it. I love art. I love looking at art. I love liking the art I love. If you’re going to get upset when people love your artwork maybe you should post it. Just a thought.Related content

I agree...it's mind boggling...why some people get upset over anyone showing appreciation for their
art. And, I also agree that if they're going to be annoyed when someone does fave their work...they
either shouldn't post it in the first place or they should change their settings to eliminate receiving
such notices. Seems a bit infantile to me, too.

Also by "inbox" do they mean their notification page? Or are they getting notified in their email every time you fave something? Because they could just turn off email notifications. There's another solution that doesn't involve them being a jerk!

Hmm, I'm not entirely unconvinced that this isn't some avant-garde level performance art, designed to subvert standard social expectations on this site, elicit shocked responses from the viewers, and provoke explorations of hitherto unexplored avenues of thought.

At the end of the day I am not upset about it. It’s more a huge laugh to me than a slap to my face. People can be so hateful and rude. I let it slip off my back. I know who I am. I know what I like & don’t like. I know I enjoy creating & no matter what anyone says or does I won’t stop. People are people.

That is pretty weird. If someone "spams your inbox with faves", that generally means you're awesome at what you do and they just want to show appreciation for that.

That is my feeling about it. I always find honor in being spammed. It shows that other are enjoying my art. It means my art is alive and people are seeing the work I work hard on making. Being an artist is one of the hardest things to do. No matter the type of art it’s still your body & soul put into your work. I guess some people just can’t enjoy the art being alive.

I agree. This is a community for artist to share their art with the rest of the world. This is a place for people to love other people’s work. Some people just can’t handle the spotlight I guess.
