This is one great creature design!
i have to agree it does remind me of lovecraft creatures but ur design is still very original.
Lovecraft is such a great writer, perhaps the greatest cosmic-horror writer. and the words that he chooses to describe the horror and the monsters would just form these 'images' in your mind.
My favourite one is 'ickman's model'...

Oooh, very Lovecraftian! The head, inside of the mouth, body texture, and general glow rather remind me of fungus - a mobile fungus? At any rate, it's very well done.

The skin texturing is very effective, especially by contrast with the "smooth white underbelly" as revealed on the undersides of the hind legs. The body shape makes me think of a Moon Beast, while the tongue reminds me of a Hound of Tindalos--so it's Lovecraft to me no matter how I look at it! That actinic "glow" around the creature reinforces the sense of its other-dimensionality, as if it lies just at the upper periphery of human vision and overlaps into ultraviolet. Fantastic work, as always, in more ways than one!

Such a great commentary..it was very nice to read
Thank you very much..I am happy you like it.
I have never read any books of Lovecraft, but i have some audiobooks of him on my computer. Are there any books with pictures of his creatures?

I've seen a lot of Lovecraft "mythos" art, but a lot of it isn't very high quality...His creatures and concepts beg illustration but not everybody "gets" it, methinks. Probably the best art I've seen is for the Chaosium role-playing game, Call of Cthulhu...S. Petersen's Field Guide to Cthulhu Monsters is a classic, but difficult to find nowadays!

I'd recommend them! Once you get past the verbosity and the general wacky conventions of his writing style, his stories have some great concepts.
