Wow! Bet you all thought I died or something! Nope, here I am! After a long break in which I had NO inspiration nor will to draw, I have a new piece to commemorate the start of my summer! Yaaay!Anyway, here's Finch. If he's really a Finch, I don't know, but I liked the name. This little fellow took about 3 days, but only because I wanted to work on him constantly. He's about 9"x9" on white paper done in colored pencils.

This is so well done. ^^ I especially love his eye! Let me ask - what kind of colored pencils do you use? I'm devoted to my Prismacolors, and I was wondering if you used them as well.
At any rate, keep it up! I want to see more recent work, since you say that these are "so old" now! ^^

*giggles* I enjoy my prismacolors, yes, but I have a big kit just full of different kind including Reeves and Crayola even. I do believe the black was prismacolor.. I think the green was crayola.
I may have to post some new stuff.

I was wondering! That's actually funny - I was trying to figure it out, and I said to myself that the black looked dark and solid enough to be a good Prismacolor, but the green really didn't seem to have the right texture for it... XD

omg wow! your really talented i love drawing in just scetching pencils but i find it really hard to do a picture in coloured pencils or paints

But I really like the colours.

It's very lifelike while still being vibrant and colorful. I always enjoy that sort of vibrant realism. Good work here.
