This is for a project I'm doing for my photo 101 class... yes, I'm new to photography .
For this project we had to photograph anything, indoor or out, of our art building. I felt like this would be a nice shot, so I tried it. It came out pretty good for my first shot of this object, the only thing I don't like too much is the fact that I feel that it's missing some contrast... but i can fix that easily by using a contrast filter in the darkroom or touching it up in photoshop.
give me some pointers and tips please.

Tweaked the contrast a bit in photoshop. what do you think? is it better? does it need more?

yes much better. doesnt seem so washed out. i love the grain in it also. very nice. i wish i had the patience for film photography and development processes. i cant stand the wait. i gotta see what i took now. lol nice picture.

you already stated it. could use more contrast. but you seem to know what you are talking about and ill be sure to add you to my list because you look like youll be submitting great photos!
