With Dr. Andross's banishment Cornerian officials proceeded to conspire more heavily within the government in search of remnants from the doctor's research. In response to this, Admiral Morpheus Sova stepped down from his position. Not long after the mysterious Black Rogue appeared. By stealing Cornerian weapon plans from Director Drax Bengal, the Black Rouge became the terror of the lylat system for a time. It was James McCloud who thwarted Rouge in the end, and by doing so potentially brought forth a greater evil.
