I realized I've never really given a full explanation for the wounds and stitches on Sketchy's flanks. So I made an illustration to go along with the story.

When Sketchy recieved her cutie mark she feared she wouldn't be successful enough and the mark would be nothing but a constant reminder of failure. She then decided to physically remove her marks. Since the removal was not done by a doctor or professional, the wounds never fully heal and Sketchy has to change the stitches and clean the wounds often.

She has been conflicted about her decision ever since, and she finds herself haunted by the thought/feeling that she possibly made the wrong decision. This causes her to have problems making decisions for herself, she fears she'll make another choice that she will later regret.
