Story
Polaris was born the daughter of a famous singer (mother) and a famous musician (father), their family extremely wealthy and full of talented individuals; their starry pelts not only for show.
Although she and her siblings were raised with a lot of love and taught to be upstanding, bars of high expectation were set and success was crucial for their family reputation.
From a young age like all of her siblings, Polaris was to practice and aqcuire much experience and skills that will help her to get far in life. Her main focuses were modeling, acting, and piano.
Polaris was always one to push herself to do her very best and make her family proud. She made sure to get straight A's in school and she was percieved by many to be perfect, which in turn isolated her and it was a struggle to make friends, let alone have true friendships. This experience caused her to keep non-family at arms distance as she found it difficult to place trust in others. Despite being lonely once she had her own house, she was still able to be charming and friendly towards others, doing her very best to hide her lonesome and fragile heart. As a way to cope with her loneliness she focused on her careers and forced herself to remain as busy as her body would allow for her to be.
One day from all of the stress and depression she had a breakdown, and her sibling that she was closest to and confided in, Atlas, flew her from France to come visit him in Momo Village.
Together they camped out in his RV and although she wasn't too thrilled of the thought of being out in the wilderness, she couldn't deny that the peace and beautiful sceneries helped to soothe her. She envied his free spirit and he taught her how to be more kind to herself and self-loving. She still struggles with being critical of herself and any failures or mistakes that she may make, but now she is able to relax a little easier and be slightly less tough on herself.
The night before she were to leave, she made a sudden decision to remain in Momo Village. She came to realize how much she had fallen in love with the culture, how beautiful this place and around it was, and how relaxed it all made her feel. She felt more in tune with herself than ever before and the thought of staying just sounded so incredible, as if it could be one of the best decisions she could make.
"When it rains, look for rainbows. When it's dark, look for stars."

The stars in her pelt and hair only appear during the evening/night according to the day/night cycle of her current location.

Sometimes shooting stars fly across her starry pelt.
The stars on her pelt reflect her health. They dim when she is sick and when she is terribly unwell/near death the stars do not show at all.
Her pads and eyes glow at night, also reflecting her health; the brighter, the more healthy.
Mostly speaks French so there is a bit of a language barrier. But it's nothing that cannot be overcome with patience from everyone!
