Description
^Had not yet figured out how to keep sand out of her ears, mouth, and eyes. It had not been long since Thea had join Arvak and she had happened to become part of the pack at the time of when wolves were given the opportunity to take a maturity test. Each wolf had to prove his survival skill and show that he could survive on his own. It was especially crucial for pack members as it would prove their worth giving them a higher status and the right to have a mate and pups in the future. Thea had always wanted a family of her own when she was old enough since the family she had been a part of had separated. With her leaders consent Thea traveled to Thrymheim where she would spend five days doing what she could to survive in the territory. She was aware upon her arrival given that it had appeared as how it had been described to her. The region covered in sand with multiple shades of reds and yellow, large rock formations, vegetation, and small waterfalls.
She had yet to see the waterfalls for herself and hoped that it would not take long to find the water. To keep herself from starving she mainly hunted rabbits. When she would find a burrow she would drop some vegetation close enough for her prey to notice. Her tan pelt helped to camouflage her in the sand and make her hunts successful. It had taken a while to adjust to hunting in sand as it would get into her eyes, ears, and mouth. She had learned to keep her ears pinned back, her mouth mostly closed, and squint her eyes just enough to keep the sand being kicked up by the rabbits out of her eyes. Being light on her paws became a problem as she would slide in the sand and had to learn to adjust by putting more weight in her legs during the chase.
