And yep, Pokémon refresh is basically Pokémon amie! But instead, you can feed them these heart-shaped jellybeans and be able to clean your Pokémon when they get dirty after a battle.

Yep, you can catch Pichu pretty early in the game, (1st city, I think!) Although it only has a 5% chance of showing up, so you might have to do some hunting around.

Yeah pretty much, except its 2 against one, and once you make one of the Pokémon faint the other one might call for another ally. It's pretty annoying if you're trying to catch a Pokémon and it keeps calling in allies lol

Yeah I'm guessing that the ally system is some kind of horde encounter substitute, since they eradicated that in sun and moon lol.

Yep, they have something called a battle royal. It's basically 4 trainers and 4 Pokémon in one battle, no teams or anything. It's kinda cool

Ok, so basically at one point of the game you'll find a battle colosseum where you can have a battle royal. You'll be against 3 other npc's with their own individual Pokémon, and you need to make the most KO's to be able to win. It's pretty much every person for themselves lol

Well, the first time you arrive to the battle colosseum, you have to do a battle royal with hau, gladion, and "the masked royal" (which is really just Kukui wearing a mask lol) then after that you can do battle royal's whenever you'd like! And you get BP for winning battles

ah, it's professor kukui! and you battle him right at the end of the game, right? (after the elite 4, i'm spoiling myself and i haven't even gotten the game yet...

Nope! You're the first champion, since professor Kukui was the one who established the Pokémon league before you finished your trial, so it's like a new concept to Alola.
