I have work to do, but I really just needed to spend some time cathartic drawing. The best way for me to do that lately has been to digitally paint the animals that mean a lot in my life, so I picked Hinny this time. It's a bigger canvas than I'm used to drawing on, and the fur took a long time for me to be pleased with, but I am very satisfied with the result! Critiques welcome! Tell me what I was successful with and what I could improve on!Program: Paint Tool SAI

My reasoning for vision is that idk...but it look a little blurry? maybe its just me so thats why i only took away 4 and a half stars. For the originallity i feel like there are a lot of foxes (sorry if that is just my opinion too). The technique is amazing! the only "bad" part is some overly shaded or overly light parts. and the impact is very low because i find the fox very stiff, besides the slight head tilt. However maybe just a little more fluid *looks like* music in either his fur, the backround, or overall pose.

Thank you so much for taking the time to do a critique of my piece! I agree that it looks a little blurry; I had a hard time with the fur texture on this one! I did a fox because this particular fox has special meaning to me, and I just chose this reference/pose because it had the best lighting. I took liberties with the highlights and shading, so thank you for telling me your honest opinion about that!
