Description Rain fell in buckets one night in a teeming metropolis. The streets showed no signs of anyone out and about, which was rare in the city. Puddles were all over the place, almost flooding the streets and side walks. Only the street lights stood tall in this storm, keeping the light for anyone who would be out this late.

Suddenly, a puddle was disturbed by a girl, probably in her mid-teens, stepped into it. At a great speed, she ran as if it was for her life. Her drenched locks clung to her skin, her eyes wide with fear and panic. She looked back as if she was being chased by some sort of predator.

Which she was.

Her predator, she dared not glimpsed another time at his visage before turning to look at the direction in which she hoped to flee. She quickly turned a corner, almost slipping from the wetness. She was now practically sprinting, gasping for air. She looked around at all of the buildings, hoping to find some sort of way inside them. To her dismay, they were all locked.

Oh god. She thought in horror, This is it...I'm really going to die! This thought haunted her head until her blue and red eyes came across an old warehouse up ahead, and her eyes seemed to beam with hope. She then turned quickly, her arms beginning to crackle and glow with electric power before firing it at her pursuer. To her surprising good luck, it had struck him, sending the man stumbling back. He growled menacingly before slinking into an alleyway.

She smiled slightly, but all too quickly reality came back to her and she yelped, taking off towards the warehouse, her temporary sanctuary. Once arriving, she managed to push the large door open and walk inside, where finally, she came across a place that was dry.

The ware house was surprisingly warm, which was a relief to a sopping person like the girl. Old boxed laid about, filled with unknown items, and seemed to have been unopened for years. But to her surprise, there were chalk drawings on the wall, looking relatively new yet appeared like they were done by a child.

The girl looked around, removing her wet coat and setting it down. "H-hello?" she called out, waiting for a response. She timidly sat down, still waiting even though she got none. She looked back at the door, which she had shut and moved some of the boxes in front of to bar down.  I maybe alone, She thought, But at least I managed to get away from him for now…

She shifted, laying back and sighing, "I wish Neon was here…" she mumbled, remembering getting separated from her pet and guardian the last time she was on the run. She slowly closed her eyes, attempting to fall asleep. That is, of course, until her eyes shot open, hearing humming. She stood up, reaching for one of the swords she had strapped to her belt.

Creeping towards one of the back doors where the humming seemed to be coming from, she hesitantly reached for the doorknob, fearing the worst as the knob was turned. The door opened to reveal a rather big surprise.

It was a boy; his back was turned to her as he was drawing on the wall. The girl blinked, looking at the boy, "W-who are you?" she asked. The boy froze at this, hearing  and turning his head, revealing a face that caused the girl to blush a bit.

He appeared to be at least in his twenties, but at the same time, he was child-like and innocent-looking. He had a pair of red eyes, but they appeared to be a ruby red due to the lighting. His face was pale, and his body fragile-looking. The boy tilted his head to the side, parting his lips to speak.

"Who is lady who comes to Eros' house?" he asked. The girl blinked, hesitating before answering, "Kerushii…Kerushii Juno."  The boy slowly nodded, smiling sweetly. "Hello, Kerushii," he said, speaking in a childish voice, "Eros is Eros. Eros welcomes Kerushii to his house!" He giggled a bit, motioning her to him.

"Come on!" Eros said, "Eros was just going to start to play with chalk!" Kerushii blinked, but soon found her moving towards Eros and sitting beside him. Eros handed her a piece before proceeding to drawing with another, returning to his humming. Kerushii looked at him, startled.

"You're…you're not mad?" She asked. Eros blinked and looked over.

"Why would Eros be mad?" He asked, "Eros welcomes everyone to his house." He rested his head on her shoulder, making her face turn a light pink. She looked away a bit, but smiled rather sheepishly. She was so used for every man she had met, when she accidently trespassed into their house, to send her away packing, even in the harshest of conditions.

She looked up, and then proceeded to draw as well. Surprisingly, she found herself to enjoy it a bit. She drew ,for some reason or another,  a beach with a sunset, while Eros drew a nice little house. The two seemed to have blended together to create one scene. The two continued to draw, the only thing stopping them was their hands touching each other, causing both of the artists to pull away and look at each other, and both faces were a light crimson shade.

Kerushii shifted a bit, looking away as Eros stared at her, tilting his head in innocent curiosity. He moved over to Kerushii, causing her to look back at him and blush harder. But then he pulled away, yawning a bit. Kerushii blinked, "Tired?" she asked.

Eros nodded, rubbing his eyes, "E-e-eros accidently stay up pass his bedtime…does Kerushii have bedtime?" he asked, taking her hand while he stood to pull her up. Kerushii looked down at his hand, then up at the boy, blankly nodding.

Eros giggled gently, "Then let's go to bed! Eros and Kerushii need to sleep!"  He had guided her to the bed that sat across from the drawing wall. He pulled them both into the bed, cuddling to Kerushii as if she was a doll of a child to sleep with. Kerushii's face seemed to have a different thought of Eros' innocent gesture, but let him do it nonetheless.  As the boy was about to fall asleep, the words that escaped his lips caused Kerushii's heart to beat a bit rapidly:

"Goodnight, Kerushii…Eros hopes we can play more tomorrow…" She looked up at the sleeping boy, and smiled gently. He was so innocent, so gentle, so sweet. Though she had just met him, she knew that there was something special about him, something that made him different than most male figures in her life. He gave her the new feeling that she had not experienced for quite some time.

She felt at peace as she finally fell asleep.
