Its all explained in the tutorial. At first it was a beginner's tutorial, but pros can also benefit from it.Here are some of my HDR Pics done with this procedure:

You should add increasing the contrast and adjusting the saturation to part of the HDR process, because images look kind of bland strait from the conversion to 8-bit. And, adjusting the curves can help bring out highlights and shadows.)

Does HDR work with B&W images? i just tried with one and it didn't work at all. I will try again with some pictures i just took in colour.

ooh this is great, i use photomatix but my friends don't have that, so ill be sure to link them to this.
I'll have a go with photoshop too, its always best to be able to use different programs instead of relying on one all the time

I think it will be very usefull for making photomanips (though I don't have a camera, I think exposure/contrast adjustments will do some nice work here).
