Description
The girl who we last saw is near the impact site in Central Park.(BG: The Dark World)
Girl: What the heck happened here?
Fireman 1: Careful, little miss. That thing could be radioactive.
Fireman 2: I heard that a giant monster emerged from radiation.
Fireman 1: (exasperated) Keep your monster fantasies out of this.
Suddenly, a man growls from nearby.
Mario's Voice: I'm-a finally tracked you down, Bowser!
All: (talking randomly at once) Bowser? Is that...some sort of cheap movie monster? I dunno, but I think he looks similar to one of our recent residents.
Fireman 3: Alright, people! Move it along! Nothing to see here! It's just a scaly skydiver who forgot to bring a parachute!
The pudgy man pushes the crowd aside to help the firemen and police.
Policeman: (Irish accent) You look familiar, but still, thanks for the help.
Mario: Thanks.
The police and firemen leave the impact zone, leaving Mario and the girl to stand near the crater. From it, a monster figure emerges. He is a large turtle-dragon creature with short horns on his yellow head. He also sports a blue Mohawk-like hairdo with bushy, blue eyebrows. His eyes are a beautiful blue color, and his left eyelid has a scar reaching his left eyebrow. He has a vaguely cream-colored snout with twelve fangs; six on each jaw, symmetrically alongside a partially-visible gum line. He sports an orange-red spiked collar with light-green spikes that radiate like flames and leaves, respectively. On his back is a yellow shell with visible ridges, a white rim and ten white spikes protruding from it. His monstrous arms have dark-red bands around them with dark blue spikes, and he has four claws on each hand. His abdomen has a cream-colored padding resembling an umpire's vest, and his feet, which have three claws on each one, are shaped like those of an elephant. His tail has a unique lightningbolt-shaped scar on the underside, and near the tip are two spikes, one behind the other.

Monster: (straining) Where am I? (groans) Man, I must hurt from head to tail!
Mario and the girl stare at the monster in horror.
Monster: (confused) Okay, what are you staring at? Is there something on my face?
Mario is the first one to react.
Mario: (angrily) You can't-a fool me, Bowser!
Monster: (sweatdrops) Bowser?! You've got it all wrong, Mario!
Mario: Don't-a play mindgames with me! You obviously sent me back here!
Monster: (shocked) WHAT?! I WOULD NEVER DO SUCH A THING!
Mario: I'm-a don't-a want to hear your lies!
Girl: (interrupts) Mister Mario, I think he may be telling the truth!
Mario: And-a you must've been-a brainwashed by Bowser, and made into one of his minions!
Girl: Look, you've got it all wrong! This is no trick! He speaks the truth! If you could just listen for once, you'll understand that if Bowser kidnapped someone, he would take them away in the Clown Car, or he could get his minions or son to do the job for him!
Monster: She's right, Mario. I'm not Bowser. If you don't believe me, ask anyone who has played Super Mario Bros. I don't even have Bowser's colors.
(BG: Rydia's Theme)
Mario calms down.
Monster: My name is Rocky O'Malley Koopa.
Mario: I'm-a pleased to meet you, Rocky! It's-a me, Mario!
Girl: Mister Mario, Mister Rocky, I'd like to introduce myself, as well. My name is Lyndsay.
Mario picks up a newspaper, with one of the headlines focusing on the ruined ship on the beach.
Rocky: It's nice to meet you, Lyndsay.
All three then start shaking hands. When they finish, they hear someone panicking.
Random Person: There's a pink blob and a green dinosaur playing near a construction site!
Rocky: (realizes) We've got no time to lose!
Mario: Let's-a go!
The trio head for the construction site.
