Description
Outside the apartment the next day, three familiar pegasi stand next to one another. Ditzy, minding her own business, begins whistling the tune of the background music, and accidentally spreads her right wing in Rainbow Dash's face, which turns light-purple.Rainbow Dash: (anger mark) THAT'S IT!!!
The two pegasi decide to scuffle while a familiar pink-haired Pegasus backs away.
RD's Voice: Hey, watch where you're pointing that wing! You want to whistle? I got your whistle right here! Here! Here's your whistle!
Down below, a familiar Dragon-type Pokémon stands guard outside Rocky's room, as the Koopa is asleep in bed. Soon, Ditzy bumps into the window, and resumes whistling to the tune, until a familiar rainbow-haired Pegasus attacks her.
RD's Voice: I thought I told you to stop whistling.
Unfazed by the brouhaha outside, Rocky begins to wake up to some crashing noises.
Rocky: (singing) One Wednesday morning, I got up late
And there were these monkeys outside the gate
Druddigon tried to stop them, but he had no luck
The monkeys broke free and they ran amok.
The three are identified by one being a pink-haired girl with a flower and a multi-colored dress, a purple-haired girl with a blue shirt that has a skull on it and black pants and boots, and a short middle-aged man with gray hair and a pair of khaki pants and black shirt and glasses.
Rocky: (singing) I don't know what to say, the monkeys won't do
Trio: (singing) Don't know what to say, the monkeys won't do
Rocky: (singing) I don't know what to say, the monkeys won't do
Trio: (singing) Don't know what to say, the monkeys won't do
The scene then shows a familiar girl from Dream Land cleaning up Rocky's desk.
Rocky: (singing) Well, my office was run by my best friend, the nurse
I came downstairs, and what could be worse?
The monkeys was doing a crazy dance
They poured Joltik in my lack of pants
The tiny Bug/Electric Pokémon begin to shock Rocky.
Rocky: (singing) I don't know what to say, the monkeys won't do
Trio: (singing) Don't know what to say, the monkeys won't do
Rocky: (singing) Monkeys danced, and I danced, too
Trio: (singing) Don't know what to say, the monkeys won't do
Outside, the Koopa borrows a nightstick from a portly male police officer with yellow skin and blue hair.
Rocky: (singing) Well, I went outside to get a stick
But, I'm telling you, friends, those monkeys was quick
'Cause when I returned, much to my disgrace
A monkey had the nurse in a mad embrace
The bald-headed man, named Kaz, begins kissing the girl.
Tiff: (singing/off-key) I don't know what to say, the monkeys won't do
Kaz: (singing) For a nickel, I'll give you a clue
The pink-haired girl, named Ami, gets up-close to the Koopa
Ami: I didn't know your eyes were blue...
Rocky: (singing) I don't know what to say, the monkeys won't do
As the duo leave, the trio behind them pursue them on foot, as they bob and weave through oncoming traffic. Eventually, Tiff gives the trio the slip, giving Rocky just enough time to head back inside.
Rocky: (singing) Well, I went to me bath for a shower and shave
The monkeys gonna put me into my grave
The entire bathroom was laid to waste
And I had to shave with minty toothpaste
The purple-haired girl, named Yumi, gives the toothpaste to Rocky, who runs out of the bathroom.
Rocky: (singing) I don't know what to say, the monkeys won't do
Trio: (singing) Don't know what to say, the monkeys won't do
Rocky: (singing) They is crazy-nutso, I'm telling you
Trio: (singing) Don't know what to say, the monkeys won't do
He later returns to the bathroom.
Rocky: (singing) Well, by this time, I was in despair
They was using a shoe brush to brush me hair
I asked them to leave, but they stayed around
They pulled the chain, and EEK! I went down
He is then sent down the drain pipes.
Rocky: (singing) I don't know what to say, the monkeys won't do
Trio: (singing) Don't know what to say, the monkeys won't do
Rocky: (singing) Call my lawyer, I'm ready to sue
Trio: (singing) Don't know what to say, the monkeys won't do
Rocky then panics at the sight of the trio staring him down. He then runs past a familiar Pegasus trio, where Ditzy is whistling to the tune, and accidentally slaps Rainbow Dash in the face with one of her wings.
Rainbow Dash: (anger mark) THAT'S IT!!
The two start to scuffle again, until they take shelter in Rocky's shell. He tries to remove the two, who are throwing their wings and hooves at each other, and eventually, along with the countless Joltik, the two pegasi are shook off the Koopa's leg. He then gives an angry glare at the three.
Rocky: (singing) Well, me patience ran out, and I'm telling you sure
Tomorrow, I'll show those monkeys the door
And if they don't leave, I'm inviting you
To my house for dumplings and monkey stew
Soon, Rocky is sitting in the cauldron.
Rocky: (singing) I don't know what to say, the monkeys won't do
Trio: (singing) Don't know what to say, the monkeys won't do
Rocky: (singing) Now I'm in the stew. Oh, pooh!
Trio: (singing) Don't know what to say, the monkeys won't do.
Rocky is then seen placing a sign that reads "Will Be Back Thursday."
Rocky: (singing) Watch out for monkeys, I'm telling you
Trio: (singing) Don't know what to say, the monkeys won't do
Soon, everyone in the apartment (except the pegasi and Ice King) chime in with the song.
Trio: (singing) We're not monkeys; we're just like you
All: (singing) Don't know what to say, the Puffy won't do!
Soon, the iris out focuses on the trio.
