Quick (because i was too fast with colors this time) Ed “Big Daddy” Roth tribute.
I figured out that i’m actually not just a fan but a [folower] of Ed Roth style! I mean - in myn childhood i saw his (but i didn’t knew his name or other information) works (or clones of his works drawn by other people) and instantly liked his crazy characters and colors. I remember i liked to draw character with crazy eyes for some period at school. I thought it was the style of 80th - punks. Or some kind of Garbage Pail Kids - version. I had no idea that actual creator started to draw such things back at 60th!
So looks like every time you saw me drawing a character, screaming with big open mouth full of teeth and tongue - it was a result of inspiration from Ed Roth (+ Tex Avery may be).
Now i really want to start drawing his Hot Rods sometimes. I like his personality, his deeds and everything else. So this is the first one. Daddy Rex was the first my character that popped out from my mind as somebody who will like to ride the imagination of Ed Roth.
