Would you be open to licensing this image for commercial use? I can't pay much, but I can pay something. Let me know and I will be interested in licensing.

Very cool. I've just finished producing an independent feature film and we are putting together a package to send to Sundance - you can visit the website for the movie at [link] and see the trailer. I would love to use your Moonlight image for our movie poster and DVD box art. How big is your image? Can you send my your private e-mail address and I will send you a licensing agreement and all the details. My e-mail is carlylyn@gmail.com. Thanks so much.

Amazing! "Dancing in the moonlight" what a great song! It also reminds me of "Can'r fight the moonlight" by LeAnn Rimes

It's beautiful, but there's something I can't figure out, the exif info says it was taken at 18mm, I have taken images of the moon at 18mm and it looks like a dot, it's pretty small even at 100%. Also the 100 sec exposure means that the moon would be very blown out, just a blob of light, posibbly creating quite a bit of flaring and ghosting. So unless the moon was really low and you cropped in and magnified AND you used a strong grad ND this image is pretty impossible to have been shot as is and was most likely manipulated.
Having said that, it's actually very well done.

o-ou, I'm glad, that at last, some one thinked out, that this is not a real photo. I did this like a joke, like just to see - will someone see the mistake this was drawn in photoshop, ofcourse You are 100% right, even if the moon would be so big, You would have to use a lot of ND filters, and even than the moon would be not detailed, and the moonlight on water ..
I was trying to make a real photo with composition like this, but it's not possible for my camera I guess..

it is posible, but you would need a lens with a long focal distance (perhaps somewhere around 400mm), and of course you would need at least a 3 stop ND or shoot two images, one exposed for the moon and the other for the water with a slow shutter speed and then blend the two in photoshop.
Nice photo manipulation it almost looks real
