I see you caused quite a scene with some people claiming your art to be sexist.
Firstly I'd like to say that I am a woman, not girl, not teenager, woman. You capture the curvy nature of our bodies in a very detailed way, you seem to take great care and pride in your work.
Secondly some others just don't have a sense of humour about certain things, you don't need to justify your depictions of the female form to anyone, if they don't like it let them move on.
Sorry to go on but it just really annoys me when others come in saying they think things are sexist, like they speak for all females in the world!

Now this is just too great! First you take the whole Savage Land concept (which I've loved every single piece for) and expanded it not only to characters outside the Marvel Universe, but now to characters outside comics entirely. This is really awesome! I hope to see even more cartoon characters in torn up clothes now.

She is a sexy character. deviantart has rules against direct pornography which would imply the "raging hormones."
Seeing art like this takes someone to be mature about it. If you can't be mature about it, or just flat out don't like it, you really don't need to say anything about it. This site is more about getting criticism and showing off our art.

Mkay. I concede that- it's definitely a lot tamer than most of what I see. What bothers me more is fantasy. Fantasy makes life so much more disappointing. I don't care if she's sexy, but I do care if she has a figure way out of proportion to reality. I know that this character was originally drawn that way on purpose by her creator, but it seems to me as an artist one could take some responsibility for maturity and realism. Because in the real world, breasts are smaller and more responsive to gravity, women DO have body hair, and still people manage to have sex anyway.
No, it's not. I wasn't being very mature; I was being fucking pissed. And usually, my anger is more directed, instead of just spilling out over everyone. I do still ask that the world stop spinning and spiralling deeper and deeper into fantasy and so leaving reality a hollow place to be... But I can certainly ask that in a better way than with random attacks.
