You make me inspirangery lol Inspired but also angry...but I mean that in a good way! lol I just don't know how you do it! Time after time I come to your gallery and just marvel at your work.Β
May I ask....I have been trying my hardest to master doing curls with this type of nonlinear painting and I just can't figure it out.Β
I was just wondering what your process is with them?Β
Working in Sai I lay down the base color and then all on the same layer I go to add a darker shade in with the watercolor brush and try to do curls and then build on that with highlights and more shadows and then add in lighter or contrasting strands of curls (if I explained that well enough lol) but I don't know what it is... I can't seem to get the curls to look detailed enough or together or even get any depth...it just always ends up looking like a sketch or underpainting. :/
